Reunions

? Planning Your Class Reunion

Reconnect. Reminisce. Celebrate.
Whether it’s been 10 years or 50, a class reunion is a meaningful way to celebrate your Madeira roots, catch up with classmates, and make new memories together. The Madeira Schools Foundation is here to support your efforts.

? Reunion Planning Tips from Jen Shinn, Executive Director of MSF

Start Early

Begin planning 6–12 months in advance to secure venues, notify classmates, and build excitement.

? Form a Planning Committee

A small team of enthusiastic classmates makes the process more fun and manageable. Divide tasks like communications, logistics, and outreach.

? Leverage Social Media & Email

Create a Facebook group or class email list to gather interest, share updates, and collect RSVPs.

? Plan a Full Weekend of Fun

Many classes have found success with this popular schedule:

  • Friday night: Casual get-together at a local spot

  • Saturday morning: Guided tour of Madeira High School

  • Saturday evening: Main reunion celebration

We can help coordinate the school visit!

? Coordinate with School & Community Events

Hosting your reunion during an eventful Madeira weekend—like Homecoming or the Independence Day Parade—can boost attendance and add to the fun.

? Book Your Venue Early

Madeira and surrounding communities have great options for both casual and formal gatherings, but spaces fill quickly. Plan ahead to get your top choice.

? Communicate Regularly

Keep your classmates in the loop with timely updates, event details, and deadlines. Clear communication = better turnout!

? Include a Visit to MHS
